02 / 09 — 24/7 Alarm Emergency Callout
Alarm keeps going off? We’ll make it stop.
A fully insured engineer attends fast to disable the sounder when an alarm won’t stop — any make of system, any time, day or night.
We attend fast to disable the sounder when an alarm won’t stop — stopping the noise and any risk of noise pollution complaints — on any make of system, not just ones we installed. Where the engineer code isn’t known, a full factory reset and reprogram is usually needed to get the system fully working again; we’ll either book this in for a follow-up visit, or talk through replacing the system if that’s the better option.
What Happens On The Visit
How we stop your alarm going off — properly.
01
Immediate Sounder Disable
The engineer’s first job is to stop your alarm going off — disabling the sounder safely, whatever make or age of system it is, so the noise stops straight away.
02
Reset, Reprogram or Replace
If we don’t hold the engineer code, the panel usually needs a full factory reset and reprogram to get it back to fully working order. We’ll book that in as a follow-up visit, or talk you through replacing the system if that’s the better option.
Pricing
Transparent pricing, agreed before we start.
Callout pricing depends on when we’re called out. Covers the callout and initial sounder disable — if a reset, reprogram or replacement is needed, you’ll be told the cost before we proceed.

Reassurance
The questions we get asked most.
Will you attend if you didn’t install the alarm?
Yes — we attend and disable sounders on any make of system, whether or not we installed it originally.
What if you don’t have the engineer code?
We’ll still disable the sounder on arrival. Getting the system fully working again usually needs a factory reset and reprogram — we’ll book that in as a follow-up visit, or talk through replacing the system if that’s simpler.
Are you available in the middle of the night?
Yes. The emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Christmas and bank holidays.
Will I get a certificate for the work?
No — a sounder disable, reset or reprogram isn’t electrical installation work, so BS 7671 certification doesn’t apply to it. Certification only comes into it if the alarm’s wiring or power supply needs actual electrical repair, which would be certified separately.
How far do you travel for alarm callouts?
Anywhere within a fifteen-mile radius of Sheffield city centre.
